Celebrating 6 years of school!

The "Pick a friend dance".  Leader picks first "friend", then that person picks a "friend",  rubs their hair and gives a kiss.  And then that "friend' goes to pick another.  It was great fun!
As we waited for our scholarship students to arrive from all four schools for the Wednesday afternoon celebration, Pres. Point-du-Jour of the Grand Ravine Community Human Rights Council (GR/CHRC), and now Principal of Orion school leads the children in a song  "Long Live Life and Love!".  Zelma Lewis (purple tee) and Elena Gaudet, representatives of Hope For Haiti:Education had great fun interacting with the students.
A nonsense song about corn having bones!
Pres. Point-du-Jour, of the Grand Ravine Community Human Rights Council (GR/CHRC), and now Principal of the Orion School,  who has managed the scholarship program from the beginning introduces us, the guests, to the four schools HHE donates full scholarships. He excitedly encourages everyone present to celebrate six years of the program! They sing, "Welcome to you it is such a joy to have you among us!"  He points out the faculty who do such great work in the instruction of the students.

YEAR 6 CLASSES FINISHED!

Due to the activities connected with the October 25 elections, schools didn't open until Oct 14.    Click on pics to see captions.
